Career Tours offer high school students opportunities for career awareness and exploration through visits to a workplace and see what a company does, hear from employees about their educational and professional pathways, and participate in work-based learning activities. These Career Connected Learning experiences connect classroom learning to the world of work, give students insight into what careers are possible, and provide an understanding of some of the skills sought by employers (both technical and durable workforce skills), with a focus on providing these experiences to students furthest from opportunity
Throughout the 2025-26 school year, over 3,000 students from our member districts in King, Snohomish, and Spokane counties will participate in these interactive, career-focused learning opportunities.
For Employers:
Tours don’t just benefit students, they also increase your Âé¶¹´«Ã½ impact and workforce development by introducing students to your business and industry, increasing awareness of your company’s role and service in the Âé¶¹´«Ã½, and supporting team morale by showing your company’s values in action.
Hosting a tour has never been easier. WABS staff will work with you to design an engaging tour, coordinate logistics with the school, and support you throughout the planning process.
